Something Happened.X3 Knows What Comes Next.

After a casualty nobody has time to read Part 4. X3 Casualty asks the questions, tells you if it is reportable and if it is a serious marine incident, starts the clocks and builds the record for the CG-2692.

The Exposure

Notify Immediately. File in Five Days. Test in Two Hours.

A reportable marine casualty needs immediate notice to the nearest Coast Guard unit (46 CFR 4.05-1) and a written CG-2692 within 5 days (46 CFR 4.05-10). If it is a serious marine incident, alcohol testing is due within 2 hours and drug collection within 32 hours (46 CFR 4.06-3). The threshold for property damage is $75,000 to report and $200,000 for an SMI.

The clock starts when it happens, not when you find out what to do. X3 puts it on the clock.
